Phoenician Red

Our signature blend of nearly equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Lemberger, aged minimally in oak to preserve and finish with a nod to a fruit-forward finish. This wine is complex, yet simple enough for any occasion. Mixed berries and pepper spice notes, medium in body, with a long and delicate finish. Exceptional by itself, and perfectly suitable to pair with pasta, pizza, barbeque, and sharp cheeses.

This wine is named after probably the most influential civilization of traders on the Mediterranean Sea. Best known for developing the modern alphabet, the Phoenicians traded wines and exotic spices from the East, and introduced these to the coastal cities in Spain, Potugal, France, and Italy. They also introduced and instructed the planting and development of the specific grape varieties best-suited for cultivation in those countries. Modern day Lebanon is centered in the heart of the Phoenician lands, and there's great pride in our heritage as it relates to those early pioneers.
